This isn't the nicest picture of Sam...but it is proof that I really do exist! We were the only three people on the little train.
They have the little boat ride! Sam was only mildly impressed by it.
They even moved creepy cowboy-on-a-bench! I tried to explain to Sam that there are pictures of all of us with the creepy cowboy, even pictures of Bay in cat's-eye glasses. That was a LONG time ago.
The best part of Paul Bunyan: it is possible to go on every ride and see every attraction in less than two hours. The worst part? The sweaty, tired ride home.

Not sure if this will work, It's my first time leaving a comment! Usually I just read your wonderful blogs! I grew up going to Paul Bunyan as a kid every year: Do they still have the large Paul at the entrance that says hello to the kids? That was my favorite yet scariest memory of that place! Yes, big Paul is in a new house but it is definitely still him! Sam didn't care for him. He didn't cry or anything but he absolutely refused to go near him. Big Paul IS really scary!
I love Paul Bunyan! The train and the boats and the creepy cowboy all look the same. (I'll have to find the 100 year-old cat's-eye glasses picture to show Sam.)
I believe Paul made me cry my eyes out when we walked in and he said HELLO MANDI! ohhh.... I still shutter at that horrible memory. I would like to add that I to have my picture taken with the creepy old guy on a bench :)
